What was your most memorable moment?
Too many to choose from! Highlights include: an exhilarating polar plunge, seeing a beautiful Antarctic sunset, camping on Antarctica, seeing the majesty of Brown’s Bluff, every time I got to see penguins swimming

Tell us about Zodiac excursions
They were awesome! I always felt safe. Most memorable was probably the first one when we got to do an extra excursion because we got to Antarctica early and we saw both a leopard seal and a weddell seal and beautiful brash ice!
Tell us about the expedition team
They were so great. So knowledgable and friendly and fun. Everyone was fabulous but stand out staff members include Sé, Tracy, Danny, Hannah, and Jenn. Favorite lecture was Tracy’s lecture on climate change, very insightful and impactful.
Tell us about the Seaventure
Love it! Cabin was great, ship was great, crew was great, would choose again!
Tell us about the Camping
So amazing! Would 100% recommend to other travellers. How many people get the chance to camp on Antarctica? So cool. I was totally ok with potentially getting no sleep but surprisingly managed to sleep a few hours as the sleeping bags were quite toasty.
Tell us about the Kayaking
Super cool! Would definitely recommend. We got to see so much wildlife and it was cool to be so close to the water. Sé and Alice were great guides

Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
Good quality thermals are key! I would recommend not using the internet at all if you can, really made me more able to focus on my experience.
Has your experience changed your perspective in any way?
Yes for sure. It has made me more committed to protecting our planet against the effects of climate change. Being in nature always puts things in perspective for me and this trip particularly did that. It reminded me of things that are important to me.
