Tell us about Zodiac excursions
Really well done and careful. I never felt unsafe in a zodiac. My wife is a little fearful of the water and was totally comfortable with zodiac rides.

Great ship and obviously designed for the number of passengers we had.
Tell us about the Kayaking
A real treat. Different than zodiac. I didn't go all of the times offered as my wife was doing only zodiac but it really gets you close to the action. Especially kelp beds, wave action near shore. Peaceful paddling and maneuvering in the brash and growlers.
Something Else?
This was my trip but my wife enjoyed it as much as I did I got a new appreciation for global warming as well as the fragile ecosystem depending on Krill. Wonderful other guests and we made many new friends (almost all from Australia and UK)
Do you have any tips or advice for other people planning a trip to Antarctica?
DO it Go to South Georgia Island Drake passage is not the only potential rough water. We hit some pitching motion from south georgia island heading back to the Falklands We were disappointed with the Falklands. It was like a shopping trip for 4 hours: I would either avoid it in the future or arrange a more dedicated tour that sees things like the penguins.
